Shopping is an important part of every vacation, isn't it? Well, today we paid our dues to the shopping gods (and boy, did we pay…)
We went to the Las Vegas Outlet Center, which is a little south from The Strip. There's a huge number of shops there, and the prices are about 30% of what you'd pay for the same stuff back in Israel. So we did our winter shopping, for the next couple of winters…
We would have shopped more, but we were on a tight schedule – we had tickets to "O" that evening, which cost almost as much as our shopping spree - $150 a ticket! I never believed that I'll say this, but they were worth every penny. It was the most amazing show we have ever seen. We can't really describe it, but if you get the chance, don't miss it!
The last thing we did before going to bed was watch our wedding DVD, which we picked up today. We finally felt a little stupid. The pictures don't show it, but a whole lot of Elvis singing and dancing went on there, and we took a very active part. That's another show that we can't describe, but we'll be happy to share it with y'all when we come back (and we won't even charge you).
This summarizes the Las Vegas chapter of our tour. Tomorrow we hit the road again.
Elad: Not a minute too soon. I finally got fed up with this town. Too many bells and whistles if you know what I mean.
Noa: If you know Elad you're probably not surprised by his comment (A reminder of what he wrote when we just arrived: "I love it here!!!!!"). I like it, but I agree it's time to leave, with definite plans to return.
Viva Las Vegas!!!
