Today we hit the road again.
We started by driving to Hoover Dam. It was a little disappointing – not as grand as we expected. Worth the visit though.
From Hoover Dam we drove back towards Las Vegas, and then north to our next destination: Zion National Park, Utah.
Elad: The road there through Nevada was one of the most boring drives I ever had.
Noa: How would you know? You were asleep!!!
Elad: My point exactly! Anyway, there's nothing there.
When we finally got to Utah though, the landscape changed quite dramatically, and became much more interesting. First of all, the earth has a red tint to it. Second, the rocks and mountains all around are quite magnificent.
We landed in our hotel, which is right before the park entrance and has a gorgeous view (as you can see from the pictures), and sat on the porch to write this down.
Tomorrow we'll go hiking in Zion, and then drive on, towards Bryce Canyon.
